Inventory overview
After you create a Private Marketplace (PMP) deal or inventory group on the IQM platform, you’ll choose which campaigns will target it. This article outlines how to assign an existing deal or group to a campaign, or remove one that you’ve previously assigned.
Review these resources first if you’d like to create a new PMP deal or inventory group:
Note that PMP deal and inventory group targeting are optional, and that you can also Target exchanges or publisher categories directly from a campaign, if desired.
Assign an inventory group to a campaign
More on inventory groups: In addition to the inventory groups you create yourself, you can take advantage of curated inventory groups and assign them to your campaigns. These groups are segmented by inventory that’s available on specific devices and belonging to particular content categories. Refer to Curated inventory groups overview for more information on available inventory group types and inventory sources. |
You can assign up to 250 custom or curated inventory groups to existing campaigns from the Inventory or Campaigns apps, or to new campaigns from the Campaigns app.
Adding an inventory group to a campaign’s Allowlist means that the platform will target only the inventory in the specified group. Adding inventory to a Blocklist, however, means the platform will bid on all other inventory except the inventory included in the group. Refer to Allowlist and Blocklist overview for more information on how campaign targeting works.
