AQ Insights report troubleshooting overview
Beta notice: Access to AQ Insights reports is currently limited to users participating in a closed, invitation-only beta testing program. General availability for this feature is coming soon.
Advertisers can create Audience Quality (AQ) Insights reports if their account and audiences meet certain eligibility criteria. They must also follow specific steps to successfully generate a report.

AQ Insights report creation troubleshooting
Insufficient funds
The workflow to generate an AQ Insights report ends with a Generate button that you’ll use to create your report. If your account’s available balance is less than the AQ Cost, this button will change to Add Funds to prompt you to add funds to your account instead.
You can also add funds from the Organization app. Refer to Add and manage funds for step-by-step instructions.
Campaign missing from list
A campaign is excluded from your report’s Campaigns list due to its eligibility or status.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot why a given campaign is missing from the list:
Refer to Audience Quality (AQ) Insights report overview to confirm that the campaign meets all eligibility criteria.
Check the campaign’s current status and duration. You can generate AQ Insights reports for eligible campaigns that feature a Pending, Running, or Expired status; and have a duration of 14 or more days.
Make sure that your Campaign Status selection is correct. It narrows the items included in the Campaigns menu to only include the campaigns that feature the status you choose. For example, if you choose Expired, we’ll only list eligible campaigns with an Expired status in the Campaigns field.
Confirm whether another AQ Insights report is still processing for the same campaign. While you can generate insights for an unlimited number of campaigns, you can generate only one AQ Insights report at a time for each campaign.
Cannot change date range
The AQ Insights report’s Date Range field will auto-populate once you select a campaign. The first date reflects the campaign’s Start Date, and the second date reflects either the campaign’s End Date or today’s date minus one day–whichever took place first. These dates are not editable.
Select Campaign is disabled - Insights app
The campaign selector becomes disabled when none of your campaigns’ statuses match the ones you selected in the Campaign Status menu. Refer to the number in parentheses next to each status, which indicates how many of those campaigns are eligible for AQ Insights reporting. For example, Running (0) indicates that zero eligible campaigns currently feature a Running status.
Expired campaigns work slightly differently. The selected campaigns must have expired within the past two years to be eligible for AQ Insights reporting.
Generate AQ Insights is disabled - Campaigns app, Dashboard app
There may be instances where the option to Generate AQ Insights is disabled in the Campaign or Dashboard apps. This occurs when the selected campaign doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria, or when you’ve selected multiple campaigns.
If the selected campaign meets all eligibility criteria but the button remains disabled, note that, while you can generate insights for an unlimited number of campaigns, you can generate only one AQ Insights report at a time for each campaign.
Cannot generate a report - Insights app
You may encounter a warning message or another issue that blocks you from generating AQ insights for a particular campaign. We build in certain blocks to help avoid charging you for highly similar datasets more than once, or generating reports inaccurately.
These blocks typically occur for one of the following reasons:
You can generate one AQ Insights report at a time for each campaign.
Another AQ Insights report can be generated once the in-progress report displays a Ready status on the Audience Quality page. Refer to Generate or manage an Audience Quality (AQ) Insights report to learn how to access this page and review report statuses.
You can generate only one AQ Insights report when you choose the same campaign and date range.
The Generate option won’t be available in this circumstance since the report’s data would be identical to the initial report. Instead, you can review the AQ Insights report that you already generated for the campaign.
You no longer have access to AQ Insights reporting.
There may be certain cases where you’ve previously generated AQ Insights reports, but your access is now revoked due to permission changes applied by a system administrator. You won’t be able to generate new insights, but you can continue to access reports you’ve already generated for one year after their creation date.
AQ Insights report results troubleshooting
Cannot delete a report
We limit the ability to delete AQ Insights reports to help avoid accidental deletions of paid insights.
The Audience Quality page of the Insights app displays each of your AQ Insights and their statuses: Ready, Processing, and Failed. You can delete any Failed AQ Insights reports either individually or in bulk.
Cannot email a report
The email feature may be disabled for one of the following reasons:
The report’s status is Processing or Failed.
You can email any Ready AQ Insights reports.
The Send Email button is disabled.
If you can access the Email Audience Quality pop-up window, but the Send Email button is disabled, note that you must enter valid email aliases to send the report to the recipients you specified.
If you completed the field but the button is still disabled, you likely only added one email alias. You’ll need to click anywhere within the Email Audience Quality window, and outside of the Email ID field, for it to register. This will enable the Send Email button automatically.
Cannot download a report
The Audience Quality page of the Insights app displays each of your AQ Insights reports and their statuses: Ready, Processing, and Failed. You can download any Ready reports by following the steps outlined in Download an AQ Insights report.
Cannot edit or duplicate a report
Editing and duplication are not currently supported for AQ Insights reports.
AQ Insights report generation failed
You encountered a technical error during report generation. Try again in a few minutes.
Note that, if an AQ Insights report features a Failed status, no AQ Cost will be deducted from the advertiser’s account balance until it successfully generates.
