Campaign scheduling overview

With campaign scheduling, you can set a weekly schedule to determine when your ads will be displayed to your target audience. You’ll select the specific dates and times that you’d like to allow, and any dates and times you don’t select will be blocked from serving ad impressions.

Refer to Campaign scheduling (dayparting) overview for more details on how your campaign’s scheduling settings are executed.

Schedule a campaign’s ads

You can add scheduling settings to a new or existing campaign from the Campaigns app:

Campaigns app - Existing campaign

Follow these steps to schedule ads for a campaign that you’ve already created:

  1. Open the Campaigns app.

  2. Select the insertion order (IO), and search or browse the IO’s campaigns to locate the one for which you want to add scheduling settings.

  3. Click the campaign’s name in the Campaign Name column. You’ll be redirected to a landing page for the campaign, where you can add or update its targeting parameters, including scheduling details.

  4. Locate and expand the Scheduling section.

  5. Select each day and time during which the campaign should be permitted to serve impressions.

    1. Select a cell and drag your cursor down to select multiple time blocks at once.

    2. Click individual cells to select a single one-hour time block at a time.

  6. Click Save to apply the new schedule to the existing campaign.

Note that, if no days or times are selected, the campaign is eligible to serve impressions at any time. However, if one or more days or times are selected, then the campaign is only eligible to serve impressions during those time periods. The campaign will be blocked from serving impressions during any unselected time periods. Refer to Campaign scheduling (dayparting) overview to review examples and more details on how your campaign’s scheduling settings are executed in the IQM platform.

Note that, if no days or times are selected, the campaign is eligible to serve impressions at any time. However, if one or more days or times are selected, then the campaign is only eligible to serve impressions during those time periods. The campaign will be blocked from serving impressions during any unselected time periods.
