Audience Insights report overview
Audience Insights reports provide a holistic and in-depth view of an audience, including users’ audience characteristics, interests, and behaviors.
You can generate an Audience Insights report if your campaigns meet certain criteria. Refer to the Audience Insights report overview page for more information on eligibility requirements, metrics, and more.

Generate an Audience Insights report
You can generate an Audience Insights report in the following ways:
Generate from the Insights app
Follow these steps to generate a new Audience Insights report from the Insights app:
Open the Insights app.
Click Audience Insights.
Select + Generate New. This will open the Generate Audience Insights pop-up window.
Search or browse the audience(s) for which you want to generate insights.
An audience is available in the table when it’s eligible for Audience Insights report generation and hasn’t previously been used to generate an Audience Insights report.
Select the checkbox next to the desired audience(s).
Click Generate Insight.
Insights typically generate within a few minutes. You can review and manage them once they feature a Ready status.
Generate from the Audiences app
Follow these steps to generate a new Audience Insights report from the Audiences app:
Open the Audiences app.
Select Matched Audience.
In the Insights column of the desired audience, select Generate.
Note that the Generate option is enabled only for Matched audiences that are eligible for Audience Insights report generation.
Insights typically generate within a few minutes. You can review and manage them once they feature a Ready status.
Manage an Audience Insights report
Use the Audience Insights page of the Insights app or the Matched Audience page of the Audiences app to download, email, or delete a report; or generate it again. You can complete these actions once the report features a Ready status.
Download an Audience Insights report
Custom logo notice: You can add a custom logo to any Audience Insights report that you download as a PDF file. The logo must be 2 MB or less in size; and saved as a PNG, JPG, or BMP file. |
You can download an Audience Insights report in the following ways:
Download from the Insights app
Follow these steps to download an Audience Insights report from the Insights app:
Filter or search the Audience Insights reports to locate the one you want to download.
Open the Download dropdown menu in the Actions column.
Click Download as PDF or Download as XLSX, depending on your preference.
Download as PDF will open the Download as PDF pop-up window, where you can choose whether the file should feature a default logo or a custom logo that you upload. Click Download PDF to finalize your selections and download the file to your device.
Download as XLSX will immediately download the file to your device.
Download from the Audiences app
Follow these steps to download an Audience Insights report from the Audiences app:
Select Matched Audience.
In the Insights column of the desired audience, select the download icon.
Choose Download as PDF or Download as XLSX, depending on your preference.
Download as PDF opens the Download Audience Insights pop-up window, where you can choose whether the file should feature a default logo or a custom logo that you upload. Click Download PDF to finalize your selections and download the file to your device.
Download as XLSX immediately downloads the file to your device.
Email a report
You can send an Audience Insights report in the following ways:
Email from the Insights app
Follow these steps to send a report once to a list of recipients from the Insights app:
Filter or search the Audience Insights reports to locate the one you want to download.
Select the envelope icon from the Actions column.
Click Email as PDF or Email as XLSX, depending on your preference. This will open the Email Audience Insights pop-up window.
Add up to email aliases to the Email ID field, separated by commas.
If you selected Download as PDF, choose whether the PDF file should feature a default logo or a custom logo that you upload.
Select Send Email.
The email will include a link that the recipients can use to download the report. This link expires 24 hours after you select Send Email.
Email from the Audiences app
Follow these steps to send a report once to a list of recipients from the Audiences app:
Select Matched Audience.
In the Insights column of the desired audience, select the envelope icon. This will open the Email Audience Insights pop-up window.
Choose Email as PDF or Email as XLSX, depending on your preference.
Add up to email aliases to the Email ID field, separated by commas.
If you selected Download as PDF, choose whether the PDF file should feature a default logo or a custom logo that you upload.
Select Send Email.
The email will include a link that the recipients can use to download the report. This link expires 24 hours after you select Send Email.
Delete a report
You can delete an Audience Insights report in the following ways:
You can delete any Audience Insights reports. While you can’t recover a deleted report, you can generate the same report again if the source audience was not altered and is still available in the Audiences app.
Delete from the Insights app
Follow these steps to delete an Audience Insights report from the Insights app:
Filter or search your reports to locate the one you want to download.
Select the checkbox(es) next to the report(s) you want to delete.
Click Delete.

Follow these steps to delete an Audiences Insights report from the Audiences app:
Select Matched Audience.
In the Insights column of the desired audience, select the trashcan icon.
