Generate or manage a Power Segment Insights report

Generate a new Sphere insight or Orbit insight for a political personality's Power Segment data segment; or download or email an insight once it's ready.

Power Segment Insights report overview

Power Segment Insights reports provide critical transparency into the composition of political audience data segments before committing budgets to targeting those segments.

Generate a Power Segment Insights report

More on generating a report: There may be instances when the Sphere insight or Orbit insight shows a Generate button, but it’s not clickable. This means the report is currently processing. Once completed, you can Download or Send the report. Refer to Power Segment Insights report statuses for additional support.

Follow these steps to generate a Power Segment Insights report:

  1. Open the Insights app.

  2. Click Power Segment Insights.

  3. Locate the desired political personality in the table’s Member names table.

    1. Search by a name.

    2. Filter by category such as Governor or Mayor.

  4. Select Generate in the Sphere insight column and/or Orbit insight column, depending on the insight type you’d like to generate.

The insights will immediately begin generating, and are typically ready within two business days. We’ll notify you via email when they’re ready.

Download a Power Segment Insights report

Follow these steps to download a Power Segment Insights report:

  1. Locate the desired political personality in the table’s Member names table.

  2. Select the download icon from the Sphere insight column or Orbit insight column, depending on the insight you’d like to download.

The insights report will immediately download to your device as a PDF file.

Send a Power Segment Insights report

Email notice: We’ll let you know if the report’s file size is greater than 25 MB, which means you’ll need to Download the insights instead of emailing them. This limitation is to comply with the file-size restrictions of most email inboxes.

Follow these steps to send a Power Segment Insights report to up to 15 recipients:

  1. Locate the desired political personality in the table’s Member names table.

  2. Select the envelope icon from the Sphere insight column or Orbit insight column, depending on the insight you’d like to send. This will open the Email Power Segment Insight as PDF pop-up window.

  3. Add each email alias to the Email ID field, separated by commas.

  4. Click Send Email.

The insights report will immediately be sent to the recipients you entered.
