SLS Insights report overview
Script Lift Study (SLS) Insights are on-demand reports that include key details about prescribing behaviors and how they may be influenced by current and previous healthcare campaigns. Uncover pre-and post-campaign comparison data, prescription trends (Rx, TRx) for exposed and unexposed NPIs, and Rx and TRx volumes for competitor brands over the same time period.
You can generate SLS Insights reports if your campaigns and account meet certain criteria. Refer to Script Lift Study (SLS) Insights report overview for more information on eligibility requirements, metrics, and costs.
Generate an SLS Insights report
Concept Group ID notice: IQM will provide you with a Concept Group ID for your brand (all SLS reports) and the competitor brands of your choice (Competitive Analysis SLS reports). Contact your IQM account representative before creating your first SLS Insights report to ensure you have the appropriate Concept Group ID(s) for data generation.
You can generate an SLS Insights report in the following ways:
Generate an SLS Insights report from the Insights app
Follow these steps to access the + Generate New workflow:
Open the Insights app.
Select Script Lift Study.
Click + Generate New. This will open the Generate Script Lift Study pop-up window.
Enter a name for the report.
Choose a unique one to differentiate this report from others that you may create.
If desired, select whether the campaign is Running, Paused, or Expired from the Campaign Status menu, which will determine which campaigns are available in the Campaign menu.
Search and select the campaign(s) for which you want to generate insights.
Each campaign must belong to the same insertion order (IO) and be eligible for SLS Insights report generation.
The Campaign Duration field will automatically populate once you select the report’s campaign(s).
If you selected more than one campaign, the Campaign Duration includes the selected campaigns’ earliest Start Date and latest End Date.
Choose a Lookback Duration of up to six months.

Select one or more Report Types.
Refer to SLS Insights report metrics for more information on the insights available in each report, and to SLS Insights report pricing for cost details.
If you selected Competitive Analysis, enter the Concept Group IDs of up to three competitor brands in the available fields. Each ID must be unique, and must not match your brand’s Concept Group ID that you’ll enter in step 10.
Enter the prescription’s Concept Group ID.
Select Next.
Review your report settings, and a summary of the SLS Insights report’s chargeable impressions and the associated cost.
We calculate SLS Cost based on the number of impressions that your campaign(s) delivered during the specified date range at a CPM rate.
Select Previous to change any report settings, if desired.
Click Generate to create the SLS Insights report.
The SLS Cost will be deducted from your account’s available balance as soon as the report generates. Once generated, you can find generated reports on the Insights app’s Script Lift Study page. Review Manage an SLS Insights report for more details.
Generate an SLS Insights report from the Campaigns app
You can begin SLS Insights report creation from the Campaigns app. Doing so will automatically populate certain fields such as the report’s campaigns, their statuses, and their date ranges.
Follow these steps to access the Generate Script Lift Study action from the Campaigns app:
Open the Campaigns app.
Select the insertion order (IO) to arrive at the Insertion Order Info page.
Click the checkbox(es) next to each campaign for which you want to generate insights.
Select Generate Script Lift Study from the More menu.
Each selected campaign must meet the SLS Insights eligibility criteria for the Generate Script Lift Study option to become enabled.
You’ll be redirected to the Script Lift Study page of the Insights app.
Follow steps 8 through 14 of the Generate an SLS Insights report from the Insights app section of this article to complete the workflow.
Generate an SLS Insights report from the Dashboard app
You can begin SLS Insights report creation from the Dashboard app. Doing so will automatically populate certain fields such as the report’s campaigns, their statuses, and their date ranges.
Follow these steps to access the Generate Script Lift Study action from the Dashboard app:
Open the Dashboard app.
Filter or search your campaigns to locate the one(s) for which you want to generate insights.
Click the checkbox(es) next to the campaign(s).
Select Generate Script Lift Study from the More menu.
Each selected campaign must meet the SLS Insights eligibility criteria for the Generate Script Lift Study option to become enabled.
You’ll be redirected to the Script Lift Study page of the Insights app.
Follow steps 8 through 14 of the Generate an SLS Insights report from the Insights app section of this article to complete the workflow.
Manage an SLS Insights report
The Script Lift Study page displays each of your SLS Insights reports and their statuses: Ready, Processing, and Failed. Use the Actions column to download or email an SLS report to your device or send it as an email attachment once it’s Ready.
Download an SLS Insights report
Follow these steps to download an SLS Insights report:
Filter or search your SLS Insights reports to locate the one you want to download.
In the Actions column, open the Download menu.
Click Download as PDF or Download as XLS, depending on your preference.
Email an SLS Insights report
Email notice: The email feature is disabled for certain reports if their file size is greater than 25 MB. This limitation is to comply with the file-size restrictions of most email inboxes. You can Download an SLS Insights report of any size.
Follow these steps to email an SLS Insights report:
Filter or search your SLS Insights reports to locate the one you want to email.
In the Actions column, select the envelope icon.
Click Email as CSV or Email as XLSX, depending on your preference. This will open an Email Script Lift Study as XLSX/CSV pop-up window.
Add up to 15 email aliases to the Email ID field, separated by commas.
Select Send Email.
Delete an SLS Insights report
We limit the ability to delete most SLS Insights reports to help avoid accidental deletions of paid insights. You can, however, delete Failed reports.
Follow these steps to delete a Failed SLS Insights report from the Script Lift Study page:
Select the checkbox(es) next to the Failed report(s).
Click Delete.
Review any warnings or disclaimers and confirm your selection, if desired.
Review past SLS Insights report spend
You can review past SLS Insights report spend in the following ways:
Review past SLS Insights report spend from the Dashboard app
Follow these steps to review the total amount spent on SLS Insights report generation from the Dashboard app:
Open the Dashboard app.
Open the View By menu and click Campaigns, Insertion Orders, or Advertiser, depending on your preference.
Workspace admins also have the option to select Workspace from the View By menu.
Select SLS Cost from the Columns menu.
The SLS Cost column will populate in the table.
Workspace admins also have the option to select Workspace SLS Insights Earning from the Columns menu.
Adjust the dashboard’s Time Zone and Date Range details to view the amount spent on SLS Insights report generation within a specific time frame, if desired.
Review past SLS Insights report spend from the Reports app
Follow these steps to review the total amount spent on SLS Insights report generation from the Reports app:
Open the Reports app.
Click + Create Report. This will open the Create New Report page.
Locate and expand the Spending category.
Drag the SLS Cost metric into the Columns field.
Complete other required and optional fields, as needed.
Note that your report’s Rows must include at least one of the following dimensions: Campaign ID, Campaign, Insertion Order ID, or Insertion Order. You can locate these dimensions in the Insertion Order Specifics or Campaign Specifics categories.
Select Execute Report.
Click Save Report.
Workspace admins also have the option to add the Workspace SLS Insights Earnings metric to a report. This metric is located in the Earnings category.
