An inventory group refers to a collection or grouping of inventory sources that are categorized based on specific criteria such as ad format, placement type, targeting options, or any other relevant attributes.

These groups help advertisers and campaign managers organize and manage their available inventory effectively. An inventory group helps streamline campaign planning and execution.

In the platform, the inventory group can have the following types:

  • Open Exchange

  • PMP

  • Contextual

Open Exchange Inventory Group

The Open Exchange inventory group serves the purpose of grouping raw inventory listed in the inventory app. Users can search for inventory based on predefined criteria, select specific items, and create a group. Once created, this group can be utilized in campaigns for targeted ad serving.

PMP Inventory Group

A PMP (Private Marketplace) group enables users to consolidate multiple PMP deals into a single group. Once created, this group can be utilized in any campaign for targeted advertising purposes.

Contextual Inventory Group

You can also create contextual inventory items. Once created, these inventories can be grouped together. This group can then be used as a targeting option in any campaign.
