Report creation troubleshooting
The Select Campaign dropdown menu is disabled
The campaign selector becomes disabled when none of your campaigns’ statuses match the one you chose in the Status dropdown menu. Refer to the number in parentheses next to each status, which indicates how many of those campaigns are eligible for Campaign Bidding Insights reporting. For example, Running (0) indicates that zero campaigns currently feature a Running status.
Expired campaigns work slightly differently. The campaign must have expired within the past two weeks to be eligible for Campaign Bidding Insights reporting.
A campaign is missing from the Select Campaign dropdown menu
If you are generating a Campaign Bidding Insights report in the Insights app, you are first prompted to select the campaign’s current status from the Campaign Status dropdown menu. This selection narrows the available selections to those with that status. For example, if you choose Running, we’ll only make campaigns with a Running status searchable in the Campaign field.
Check the campaign’s current status and update the Campaign Status field accordingly, if applicable.
To help reduce user errors next time, consider generating a Campaign Bidding Insights report from the Campaigns or Dashboard apps. These apps will pre-populate the Campaign Status and Campaign fields during setup. Refer to Generate or interpret a Campaign Bidding Insights report for more information on how to generate the insights from the Campaigns or Dashboard apps.
If adjusting the Campaign Status field doesn’t address the issue, keep in mind that the campaign selector is limited to eligible campaigns only. Refer to Campaign Bidding Insights report overview for more information on eligibility criteria.
The Calendar field is disabled
The Calendar selector becomes enabled after you choose a campaign from the Select Campaign field.
The Calendar field allows only past dates
Campaign Bidding Insights include performance data for past and current campaigns, which you can use to optimize your targeting selections and open up scale.
IQM offers other campaign estimation tools that you can use to help predict future performance based on your parameters. Follow these steps to access them:
Open the Campaigns app.
Select a campaign.
Click Run Campaign Estimations in the left-side panel. We’ll generate estimated forecasts for Targetable Audience, Reach & Impressions, and Bid Landscape based on your campaign’s targeting parameters.
Provided forecasts represent estimates and are based on the last seven days of data across the IQM bid landscape. The bid landscape is variable based on changes in available impressions, market seasonality, and other dynamic factors.
The Calendar field disabled certain past dates
The Calendar field supports time frames ranging from the past one hour up to the past two weeks.
No bidding insights are shown
All three items must be selected for Campaign Bidding Insights to surface:
Status
Campaign
Timeframe
Insight generation may take a few minutes to complete depending on the number of impressions served during the timeframe that you selected.
Results troubleshooting
No data found
You’ll receive a “No Data Found” error message when no impressions were served during the timeframe that you chose. Update the timeframe to try again, and consider a wider selection. For example, if your timeframe was Last 3 hours, choose Last 24 hours instead. Expired campaigns may require the widest selection of Last two weeks depending on when they stopped serving impressions.
