Account types and entities overview

This article outlines the relationships between a Workspace, Workspace User, and Organization/Advertiser. These entities determine the types of information you can access for your own and others’ accounts, and the actions you can perform across the IQM platform.

Workspaces

Workspaces are one of the core entities of IQM’s organizational hierarchy. With Workspace access, you can manage multiple accounts within an agency on the IQM platform, including:

  • Manage the permissions and credentials of assigned Organizations/Advertisers–known as “Customers” in this relationship–so they can access data related to key platform features such as reports and audiences.

  • Perform financial operations related to margins, costs, invoices, and credits.

  • Access real-time data and reporting across all assigned Customers in one place.

Organizations/Advertisers

A Workspace User may have access to multiple Organizations/Advertisers, but may only have access to certain apps as determined by the Workspace.

Once assigned to a Workspace User, Organizations/Advertisers can run ad campaigns in the IQM platform. In other words, insertion orders (IOs) and campaigns are created at the Advertiser level. These Organizations/Advertisers also manage their own balances.
