In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to apply PMP deals as targeting in a campaign. There are two methods available as mentioned below.

Method 1: Add PMP deals directly into your Campaign.

In the Campaigns app, navigate to the “Inventory” section, where you can select PMP deals as your targeting criteria.

You will be asked to select one of the following options:

  • Select PMP Deals: This allows you to choose from any existing PMP deals you have previously added to the platform.

  • Add New PMP Deal: This lets you create a new PMP deal directly from the Campaigns app and add it as targeting for the campaign.

If you choose the Select PMP Deals option, a popup will appear, prompting you to select one or more PMP deals to include in the campaign.

You can search and choose relevant PMP deals from the popup and click “Select” to confirm the deals. Selected deals are now added to the campaign.

If you choose the Add New PMP Deal option, you will need to provide the following details to create a new PMP deal:

  • Deal ID: Enter a unique number or ID as provided by the SSP or publisher partner. This deal ID will be used to match the inventory during the auction.

  • Deal Name: Enter a name that will help you identify the deal in IQM’s platform.

  • Exchange: Select one exchange in which the auction for the PMP deal will take place.

  • Deal Status: By default, the status is set to Active when you add the deal. You can change the status to Inactive later. Inactive deals are not visible to any campaigns.

  • Creative Types: Choose one or more ad creative types for the deal.

  • CPM: This is reference data provided by the SSP/publisher that you can store within the deal. This value will not be used in the auction.

  • Description: Add any description to the deal for your reference

Once the deal is added in the campaign, it will be available in the inventory section.

Method 2: Add an inventory group of PMP deals into a campaign.

You can organize your private deals into an inventory group and use that same inventory group as targeting criteria in the Campaigns app.

You may add multiple inventory groups in a campaign.

If you choose Select Inventory Group, you can choose the existing inventory group from the popup.

If you select Add New Inventory Group, you will be redirected to the Inventory app to create a new inventory group. After creating a new inventory group with PMP deals in the Inventory app, return to the Campaigns app. You can then select the newly created group as the targeting criteria for your campaign by using the Select Inventory Group button.
