Campaign pacing coordinates the distribution of marketing budgets over specified time frames. At IQM, our platform pacing features provide advertisers with unparalleled control and real-time insights at both the Insertion Order (IO) and campaign levels.

IO Pacing: Crafting Success from the Onset

The IO Pacing column provides a visual representation of their IO progress through two bars—spend and duration.

The top bar is the spending bar. It changes its colors dynamically to indicate whether the campaign is spending as planned.

Deciphering the Spend Bar Colors:

  • Purple(>120%): Spending exceeds 120% at the respective time.

  • Green (90-120%): The campaign is spending as expected.

  • Orange (60-90%): Indicates that the campaign is pacing slightly below expectations, and modifications may be necessary to hit spending targets.

  • Red (<60%): The campaign is pacing below expectations. Adjustments are necessary to meet campaign spending goals.

  • Gray: Adopts a neutral gray tone if the campaign end date is unspecified.

The bottom bar provides a clear view of time progression, offering a percentage-based representation of the campaign's duration.

Campaign Level: Orchestrating Dynamics

Within the campaign table, two pacing columns—Campaign Pacing and Daily Pacing provide a view of spending trends.

Campaign pacing provides a view from the start of the campaign through the prior day and leverages the same spend and duration bars as IO pacing. Campaign pacing values are updated once every 24 hours

The Daily Pacing column provides insight into how much of your budget was spent and what percentage was spent in the current day. Daily pacing values are updated once every hour.

Accessible in both the Dashboard and the campaign app, these pacing columns offer advertisers real-time insights, precision control, and adaptive strategies.

Advertiser Benefits

  • Real-Time Insights: The visual representation of spend and duration trends offers advertisers immediate insights into IO, campaign, and daily performance, allowing for timely adjustments.

  • Precision Control: Advertisers can exercise precision control over their campaigns, aligning spend with specific objectives and optimizing resource allocation.

  • Adaptive Strategies: With dynamic pacing features, advertisers can adapt their strategies in real-time, ensuring campaigns remain agile and responsive to market changes.

  • Cost-Efficiency: The dual bars provide a clear indication of spending trends, enabling advertisers to maintain cost-efficiency and allocate budgets effectively.
