NPI matching securely correlates the NPI numbers supplied by our customers with their respective digital identities. This process enables advertisers to deliver healthcare-related ads effectively by ensuring the ads reach the appropriate medical professionals.

What file type is required to upload my NPI list into IQM’s platform?

A CSV or XLSX file is required for upload.

What is the minimum number of records required?

There is a minimum requirement of 25 records.

What is the maximum number of records allowed?

Maximum number of records allowed is 5M.

What is the average match rate?

Our average match rate on the IQM platform is 80%.

How will I know the size of my audience after the records are matched?

On the main screen of the Audiences app, click on Matched Audiences. Locate your audience within the table and scroll to the column labeled “Uniques” to find audience size.

Can my NPI file include personally identifiable information (PII) like first name, last name, address, etc?

Yes. IQM will anonymize the data in the matching process. Files, including PII, will be stored behind a firewall and encrypted in the case of a data breach.

Can I further segment my matched audience after it has been created?

No. Each file you upload creates one target audience. If you would like to segment your NPI list into multiple audiences, you will need to create one file for each audience you wish to target and then follow the process for creation accordingly.
