Learn how to select the inventories you might need for your ads

An ad inventory is the amount of space that a publisher has available for ads. Inventory can be sold through ad exchanges or intermediary marketplaces that allow advertisers to bid on inventory in real time as soon as the inventory is available.

Use the Inventory panel to control which publishers will distribute your ads. You’ll need to create an inventory group before it can be applied to a campaign.


Choose your publisher categories

Choose which publishers display your ad campaign:

  1. Open the Inventory panel.

  2. Select which publisher categories you want for your campaign, using the Select Publisher Category dropdown menu.


Include and exclude inventory groups

Choose which publishers are included or excluded for your campaign. You will first need to create an inventory group before it can be added to the Include or Exclude list. To learn more about creating a new inventory group for your campaign, visit our Inventory section for more details.

  1. Open the Inventory panel.

  2. Select the Include tab to choose which publishing groups you want to display your ads, or select the Exclude tab to choose which publishing groups should not post your ads.

  3. Select the Inventory Groups to be included or excluded from your campaign.
