L2 audience import overview
IQM partners with data provider “L2” to offer comprehensive voter and constituent targeting solutions. Our direct integrations allow you to export audiences directly from the L2 DataMapping platform and import them into the IQM platform. You can manage these audiences in the Audiences app, or add them directly to your campaigns.
Import an L2 audience
Prepare to import an L2 audience
You’ll need these three items before you can import an L2 audience:
An L2 platform account login.
Your IQM account ID.
The segment name.
Follow these steps to locate your IQM account ID:
Select My Profile from the IQM homepage.
Click Organizations.
Locate the code listed in the ID field.
Send universe
Follow these steps to send an audience from the L2 platform to your account on the IQM platform:
Navigate to the L2 DataMapping platform (external link) and log into your account.
Search for and select the audience you’d like to send to the IQM platform.
Locate the SOURCE category.
Select the + icon next to the Universes dropdown menu to create a new universe.
Enter a name for the universe using the following naming convention: IQM_[IQM account ID]_[Segment name].
Replace the items in brackets with the correct values, and remove the brackets. For example, “IQM_123456_CustomSegment”.
Select the universe name you entered to open the Universe Details page.
Click the house icon.
Select Transmit this Universe to a third-party application.
Choose IQM from the list of third-party applications that populate.
Click SEND UNIVERSE to export the universe to the IQM platform.
Manage an imported L2 audience
Follow these steps to review or manage the imported L2 audience in the Audiences app:
Choose the Audiences app from the IQM homepage.
Select Segmented Audience.
Locate the audience on the Segmented Audience page.
If you’ve created several segmented audiences, sort or filter the table to limit which audiences will display on the page.
Click the audience’s name to open the Audience Details pop-up window.
Select Edit Audience. This will open the Edit Segmented Audience pop-up window.
Make any desired changes to the audience.
Click Save to apply the changes, or Cancel to discard them.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 to duplicate or delete the audience instead.
Add an imported L2 audience to a campaign
You can add an L2 segmented audience to an existing or new campaign from the Audiences, or Campaigns apps.
From the Audiences app - New or existing campaigns
Follow these steps to add an imported L2 audience to a new or existing campaign from the Audiences app:
Choose the Audiences app from the IQM homepage.
Select Segmented Audience.
Locate the audience on the Segmented Audience page.
If you’ve created several segmented audiences, sort the table by Audience Name or Created, or search by Audience Name to limit which audiences will display on the page.
Click the checkbox next to the name of the audience that you’d like to add to a campaign.
Select Add To Campaign to add the audience to an existing campaign, or Create Campaign to add it to a new one.
If you choose Add To Campaign, an Add To Campaign pop-up window will appear.
Select your campaign(s) from the dropdown menu, or select an insertion order (IO) to add all of that IO’s campaigns. Click Update to finish adding the audience.
If you choose Create Campaign, a Create Campaign pop-up window will appear. Select an Insertion Order, enter a unique Campaign Name, and choose a Campaign Type; and select Create to finish creating the campaign.
From the Campaigns app - New campaign
Follow these steps to add an imported L2 audience to a new campaign from the Campaigns app:
Choose the Campaigns app from the homepage.
Select an insertion order (IO) to assign the new campaign to that IO.
Click + Create Campaign. This will open the Create Campaign pop-up window
Type a unique name into the Campaign Name field and choose a Campaign Type.
Click Create. This will redirect you to a page where you can edit the new campaign.

From the Campaigns app - Existing campaigns
Follow these steps to add an imported L2 audience to an existing campaign from the Campaigns app:
Choose the Campaigns app from the homepage.
Select the name of the campaign’s parent insertion order (IO).
Select the name of the campaign you’d like to update with the L2 segmented audience.
Locate and expand the Audience section.
Choose Segmented from the available audience categories.
Expand the Select Audiences dropdown menu.
Click the Allowlist tab or the Blocklist tab depending on whether you’d like to target or block the audience.
Search and select the L2 segmented audience.
Select Save to update the campaign.
