In this article, we’ll walk you through simple steps of setting up the Allowlist or Blocklist targeting in a campaign.

In the Campaigns app, navigate to the “Inventory” section, you can find the CTA buttons for adding Allowlist or Blocklist.

Clicking on Allowlist or Blocklist will open a popup where you can insert your list.

You can upload or paste the following items, as they are currently supported for inclusion in the Allowlist and Blocklist.

Android Package Names:

An Android package name is a unique identifier for an application on the Google Play Store and the Android operating system. It is used to distinguish one app from another and is typically formatted as a reversed domain name, such as com.example.myapp.

iOS Apps IDs

An iOS app ID is a unique identifier used to distinguish different applications on Apple's iOS platform. It's essential for app management, distribution, and various functionalities within the Apple ecosystem.

Site Domains

Site domains refer to the unique web addresses or URLs where digital advertisements can be displayed. Each domain represents a specific website or online platform. Examples of site domains include example.com, newswebsite.com, and blogsite.org

You can add your list using two methods:

  1. Copy and Paste: Copy your list from your source and paste it into the text area provided in the Allowlist or Blocklist popup for any given section.

  2. Upload CSV: Upload your CSV file directly into the given section of the Allowlist or Blocklist popup.

Note:

  • Please ensure the system reads your input correctly. Each item should be separated by either a new line or a comma in the text area of each section inside the popup.

To confirm the changes, click on the "Add" button in the popup. This will add the lists to the campaign.

You can view your added Allowlist or Blocklist items on the right side of the screen in the inventory section of the Campaigns app.

Please note: the campaign itself still needs to be saved manually. Do not forget to save the campaign after adding your Allowlist or Blocklist.
