In this article, we’ll walk you through the simple steps of Creating PMP deals from the Inventory app.

For more information on PMP deals, see the following articles:

Add a new PMP deal

In the Inventory app, navigate to the PMP tab from the top bar. It will show the list of currently available PMP deals for your account.

Add a new PMP deal by clicking the “Add New Deal” button from the left panel.

It will open a popup window and ask for the following details to create a deal in your account:

  • Deal ID: Enter a unique number or ID as provided by the SSP or publisher partner. This deal ID will be used to match the inventory during the auction.

  • Deal Name: Enter a name that will help you identify the deal in IQM’s platform.

  • Exchange: Select one exchange in which the auction for the PMP deal will take place.

  • Deal Status: By default, the status is set to Active when you add the deal. You can change the status to Inactive later. Inactive deals are not visible to any campaigns.

  • Creative Types: Choose one or more ad creative types for the deal.

  • CPM: This is reference data provided by the SSP/publisher that you can store within the deal. This value will not be used in the auction.

  • Description: Add any description to the deal for your reference.

Click on the “Add” Button, this action will add a new deal to your account.

Edit PMP deals

You can edit a deal by selecting it from the table and then clicking on the "Edit" action.

The Edit action will open a popup that allows you to modify any information in the deal.

You cannot change the status of a deal to Inactive if it is currently assigned to any campaigns.

You can view the list of campaigns currently using the deal in a table format within the edit popup.

Activate the PMP deals

To assign and existing PMP deal to a campaign, you can either create an inventory group and add the group to your campaign, or you can directly add the PMP deals to campaigns right from the Inventory app using the “Assign To Campaign” action button.

Add PMP deals to a Campaign

To add one or more PMP deals into a campaign, you first need to select PMP deals from the table.

Click on the “Assign to Campaign” action button from the top of the table. (Only active deals are allowed to be added to any campaigns therefore the action button stays disabled if you select any inactive deals).

This action will open a popup that allows you to search and select specific campaigns you want this deal to be added.

The selected campaigns will be visible in the table inside the popup. Once you review the list of campaigns, click on the “Update” button, this will update all the selected campaigns and add the selected deals to them.

Once the details are saved the popup will be closed. At this moment, all the selected deals have been added to those selected campaigns.

You can check the assigned campaigns list by clicking on the “Active” status in the status column of the table for any deal.

The value in parentheses within the status column for any deal indicates the number of campaigns using that deal.

Click on the value in parentheses to open a popup displaying a list of campaigns currently utilizing the deal.

Save deals to a Group

Assign Groups To Campaigns

To assign any group to a campaign, navigate to the Groups tab in the top navigation bar of the app. This will take you to the Groups screen.

In the left panel, you will see a list of available groups. Find and select the desired group. The details of the selected group will be displayed in the right panel. Click on the "Assign To Campaign" button in the top right corner.

This will open a popup where you can search for and select one or more campaigns. The selected campaigns will be displayed in a table format within the popup.

To confirm the change, click on the "Update" button. This will add the selected group as a targeting option in all the chosen campaigns.

The added groups will also be visible in the inventory section within the campaign.

Shared PMP deals

PMP deals shared by the admins are referred to as Shared Deals. These shared deals are available in the PMP deal table.

You can identify a Shared Deal by the icon next to the Deal ID. Shared deals can be part of any PMP group or assigned to campaigns.
